SKF now offers a range of three different belt alignment tools to help enable accurate alignment of most industrial belt and chain transmission applications such as V belts, wedge belts and also chain drives.

SKF TKBA 10 and TKBA 20

The new TKBA 10 and TKBA 20 are versatile tools for aligning pulleys and sprockets as they align on the side face. The unit magnetically attaches to the pulley or sprocket face and has no small parts or targets that can get lost. A laser line is projected from the transmitter and reflected

back by the reflector unit on the opposite pulley. Consequently the offset, vertical and horizontal angle misalignment can be easily visualized and corrected.

SKF TKBA 10 utilises a red laser and can be used for distances up to 3 m (10 ft).
SKF TKBA 20 utilises a highly visible green laser and can be used for distances up to 6 m (20 ft). It can even be used outdoors in sunny conditions.
