The Machine Shop Division facilities includes Center Lathes, Cylindrical (Internal and External) & Surface Grinders, Slotters, Milling machines, Vertical Turret Lathe machines, Horizontal Borers, Shapers, Radial Drillers, CNC Lathe Machines and super finishing machinery. This facility is not only forms the starting and finishing processes for most reclamation work, but can also be used to manufacture and develop new parts / components.

NASICO Machine Shop is highly dedicated for high precision jobs using special materials like Alloy/Stainless Steel, Non-Ferrous Metal, Aluminium, Zeron, Duplex etc. Special welding process like Hard Facing, MIG, TIG Welding for Pump and Rotor Shafts.

Our range of activities also includes Specialized surface /Heat Treatment Processes like Hardening, Case carburizing, Nitriding, Hard Chroming, etc. We also supply specialized casting items and development of moulds and dies for our clients.

The Machine Shop Division which provides a high level mechanical engineering support service to the local industry continues to grow in new areas including Steel plants, Piping industries, Mining, Cement and Desalination plants. Our workshops are ISO certified and they have developed the expertise to re-engineer and supply spare parts allowing end users viable economical alternatives to the OEM's who tend to charge prohibitive prices throughout the life cycle of equipment they supply in Kingdom.

Machine Shop Division also undertakes MACHINE TOOL MAINTENANCE & FIELD SERVICES. This sub-division has competent, highly efficient and dependable technicians for the following services:

1. Machine tool installation and maintenance works like preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, retrofitting, reconditioning and overhauling of machines, bed scraping and annual maintenance contract for all kind of machineries etc.

2. Skilled Mill Wrights and Mechanical Technicians for Shutdown Maintenance Operations like, Rotary Equipment Maintenance, Installation of Trays in Columns and Pressure Vessels, Servicing of high pressure pumps and leveling work, Installation of equipments, repairing of compressors & gearboxes and replacement of apron plates in steel plants and cement shutdown activities.

3. Design, Supply, Erection / Commissioning & Maintenance of Custom-built Hydraulic Equipments and sales of new workshop machineries as per client’s requirement from the Leading machine tool manufacturers.
